All-Russian Forum of Muslim Youth-2023

The All-Russian Forum of Muslim Youth will be held in Bolgar on August 16–23, 2023. The organizers of the forum are the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Supporting Fund of Islamic Culture, Science, and Education. Boys and girls aged 18–30 are invited to participate in the weekly forum. In total, 130 people from different parts of Russia are expected to attend. Applications for participation are accepted until July 15, 2023.
The forum will run in the format of a tent city and under the topic of charitable activities among Muslims.
The main goal of the forum is to create a communication environment that supports youth initiatives, promotes self-realization among Muslim youth, and raises the level of spirituality. Through the educational, creative, and practical platforms of the Forum, young people will be able to learn how to implement their ideas into projects.
The forum will become a platform for opportunities for the creation and implementation of social projects for the Russian Ummah. It will teach young Muslims to “package” social startups at different stages of their implementation; these may be ideas or ready-made projects that can already be submitted for participation in grant competitions. At the forum, they will be “polished” and brought to the level of participants in federal grant competitions. Participants in the Forum of Muslim Youth will receive master classes and consultations from eminent experts on the startups’ implementation. In addition, the best projects will be selected based on the results of the Forum of Muslim Youth.
A social project is one that is aimed at solving a social problem faced by the targeted group. Another feature of the social project is that its targeted group uses the services for free. One project can be implemented by 1–3 people.
The forum program also includes religious knowledge obtaining, scientific and educational lectures, training, master classes and workshops, TED talks and debates, a cinema hall, a book club, hiking, and excursions. The forums’ headliner will be Abdurrahim Lakrim, the Sheikh from Morocco and lecturer of the ETABLISSEMENT AJIAL BOUFEKRANE Fund.
