Wooden mosque in the village of Kurkachi, Vysokogorsky district, Republic of Tatarstan

July 10
This is a wooden mosque with a minaret on the roof. The logs are scribed together in oblo (Swedish cope), with the ends at the corners of the mosque. The walls are covered with gray siding. The windows are made of plastic, the frames are typical with a stamped metal decor. An entrance with an attached seni is arranged on the north side. An annex adjoins the mosque on the east side.  The octagonal minaret, lined with gray siding, is made in the form of traditional Tatar mosques of the XIX – early XX centuries.  It has three tiers; high, narrow windows are made through one side of each tier.  Each tier is separated by a two-layer cornice, the same as the upper cornice under the octagonal green tent. The second tier (sharaf) has a wraparound balcony. The high four gable roof is lined with a roofing profile of the same green color.

The author of the architectural watercolor painting is Aidarov Ravil Sayarovich.
