Two-minaret mosque on Bolshaya Street

April 17th

It was a one-story wooden cult building of log structure on a brick basement. The architectural solution is based on a combination of techniques and elements of wooden professional architecture with the Bulgarian and Tatar traditions of stone cult architecture. On the long axis, the building has six large windows decorated with original modern bindings and cornices. The walls and corners have pilasters, and the rib is decorated with square frames.  Two beautiful octagonal minarets of different heights covered with elegant tents rise above the hip roof. In the upper part of the high minaret there is a wraparound balcony (sharafe) designed for the azan. The walls of the mosque and minarets have a simple board covering.
